The terms on which BestRelay serves you

§1 What BestRelay provides

BestRelay is an independent relay. It forwards your API requests to third-party model providers under the model name you specify, and charges your prepaid credit by the tokens each call uses. Using the service means accepting these conditions.

To review abuse and settle billing questions, we keep the user-written text of requests sent through the relay for 30 days. System prompts and model replies are not stored.

§2 Your account, and the keys to it

An API key carries the full authority of your account. Keep keys private; losses caused by a leaked, shared or lent key are the account holder's responsibility.

You can void a key at any time from the dashboard; a voided key stops working immediately.

§3 Credit and charges

The service is prepaid. Your balance is a virtual credit used to pay for API calls; it is not a cash deposit and earns no interest.

Each call is charged once, after it ends, at the published per-token prices. A final call may take the balance slightly below zero; further calls are then declined until you top up.

§4 Refunds

Unused credit can be refunded on request within 13 days of the top-up, less what has already been consumed and any payment-processor fees. Consumed credit, and top-ups older than 13 days, are not refundable.

Credit that comes from referral commission or promotional gifts cannot be refunded or withdrawn as cash; commission withdrawals follow their own rules in the dashboard.

To ask for a refund, write to us from the Messages page or the contact page. Requests are handled within 3 working days.

§5 When the service is interrupted

We work to keep the relay running but cannot promise uninterrupted service. Provider outages and network faults can make calls fail, and we are not liable for indirect losses that follow.

§6 Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and within the model providers' usage policies. Accounts used for abuse, fraud or attacks are suspended without refund.

§7 Model output

Responses are generated by third-party models and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Review them before relying on them; you are responsible for how the output is used.

§8 How these conditions may change

We may revise these conditions. The version published on this page is the one in force.
